The Chinese Super League are preparing a staggering £800,000 a week wage package to lure top English footballers from the Premier league.
Many players have made a high profile mega money switch to the Chinese Super League (CSL). Chelsea boys Oscar and John Obi Mikel made their way through in the current transfer window.
With their increasing hold on money power, the CSL is planning to target Tottenham Hotspur English duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
The list also includes Everton’s Ross Barkley and Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge. The Chinese Super League representatives are already in line to execute their plan.
The Chinese plan to increase their league’s credibility through adding England’s finest emerging stars.
Wayne Rooney and John Terry, both in their 30’s remain as Chinese Super League targets. Mikel made his way to Chinese club Tianjin TEDA from Chelsea after spending a decade in the Premier league.
Fellow midfielder Oscar, 25, had already left Stamford Bridge to sign for Shanghai SIPG, where he is under the management of another ex-Chelsea man, Andre Villas-Boas.
Carlos Tevez, 32, joined Shanghai Shenhua from Boca Juniors last week in a deal worth £600,000 a week.
