PSG Set To Lose Verratti, Marquinhos, Matuidi And Three More Due To Financial Fair Play Regulations

Published on:

French giants Paris Saint Germain could be forced to sell around six of their first team players in order to meet the Financial Fair Play rules next summer.

The Parisians are on the verge of facing serious punishment if they are unable to make up for purchasing Julian Draxler and Goncalo Guedes in January.

Draxler moved to Paris in a £34 million deal earlier this month despite interest from Arsenal. Manchester United target Guedes is expected to complete a £25 million switch from Benfica.

Paris Saint Germain also secured the services of Grzegorz Krychowiak for £28 million and Jese Rodriguez for £21 million last summer.

The uncontrolled spending could lead to points deduction and a possible Champions league ban for the French champions.

Unai Emery may have to part with Marco Verratti and Marquinhos who are linked to Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively. Juventus on the other hand are planning for a double swoop for Blaise Matuidi and Adrien Rabiot.

Hatem Ben Arfa and Javier Pastore have been targets for AC Milan and Roma. Many other clubs are keen to sign the long list of departing players.

David Luiz, Lucas Digne and Benjamin Stambouli’s departures have earned the club over £50 million.
