Ramos Blasts James Amid Real Madrid Exit Talks

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has criticized James Rodriguez for the timing of statement regarding his future at the club.

Real Madrid won the club World Cup by beating Kashima Antlers 4-2 in the final where James was an unused substitute.

James Rodriguez has been struggling to find a regular spot in the starting eleven under boss Zinedine Zidane.

James Rodriguez commented that he did not know about his future after the Los Blancos’ title triumph, prompting Ramos to comment on the matter.

“It’s not a day for personal issues,” Ramos said.

“I hold him in high regard and I hope he stays. But today wasn’t a day to focus on other matters.”

The Los Blancos won thanks to a stunning hattrick from Cristiano Ronaldo.

“The first one I didn’t think I would get but the second one, I was happy to have my luck changing a little as the referees were on my side there,” added Ramos.James Rodriguez

“It was a difficult game against a complicated team. They made us suffer and we had to show a lot of intensity and take advantage of the chances that came our way.”

“We are all very proud to have closed the year out with another title and it is nice for us to add another trophy.”
