Antonio Conte Lined Up By Paris Saint-Germain To Take Over From Unai Emery
The report claims that PSG will part ways with Emery if the Ligue 1 club fail to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Emery’s current contract with PSG is set to run out at the end of the season.
And Le Parisien claim that the PSG bosses have made contact with Conte’s representatives as they want the former Juventus boss to take over at PSG.
Conte’s Chelsea future is in doubt and it seems that the Italian could leave Stamford Bridge next summer.
And rumours linking Conte with a move away from Chelsea intensified this week after Blues chief Michael Emenalo parted ways with the club.
According to The Sun, Emenalo had a disagreement with chief executive Marina Granovskaia over Conte’s future at Chelsea.
And his exit was nothing out of the blue for the Chelsea officials amid chaos over transfer policy and Conte’s management style.
Conte was reportedly involved in a bust-up with Blues defender David Luiz last week and the Italian dropped the Brazilian star from his squad that won 1-0 against Manchester United – before refusing to make it clear whether the former PSG player had a future at Stamford Bridge.
Conte’s management came under the scanner in the summer over the manner in which he handled Diego Costa’s departure.
Conte had informed Costa via text that he was no longer wanted at Chelsea despite the now Atletico Madrid striker guiding them to the Premier League title last season.
