Luis Enrique is one of the best known and most successful managers in the world. At Barcelona he has won 3 La Liga, 2 Copa del Rey, 1 Supercopa de España, 1 UEFA Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup titles. We bring to you some facts that you should know about him.

Playing for the club of his birth town, at Sporting de Gujon he was nicknamed Lucho ‘the fighter’ after Luis Flores a Mexican forward in the team.

Luis is one of the few players to play for both Barcelona and Real Madrid. He played 5 season for Real before moving to arch rivals Barca in 1996.

After retiring as a player Luis lived in Australia for a while. He practiced surfing there.
