Juventus’s young striker Alvaro Morata has spoken about his future ahead of the EUROs 2016.

The 23 year old found the net twice in Spain’s 6-1 win over South Korea in a pre-EURO friendly.

Morata’s Spanish team are preparing themselves as they look to defend their crown. Spain have won the last two editions of the EUROs in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

Speaking after the match, he said: “There are things that I don’t trust. I don’t know what comes out in the press. What player would not like to be at Real Madrid? They’re the best club in the world. There are things that come out that I’ve not said and now I want to focus on the European Championships,”

This new statement comes just days after he told the press that a move to England would be very tempting “There are some offers from England that are tempting, not only by the contract. I think for my characteristics the Premier League would also be a great destination. I’m not saying that you want me to go to Juventus, a team that I can only speak well of.

“I say going to the Premier League would not be a step backwards. With what I have learned in Italy, if I have the chance to learn something more in England I think it would make me a more complete, better player. I am 23-years-old and what I want is to progress, play, and learn from the best.”

Real are monitoring the situation and Zinadine Zidane is very keen to bring the forward back at the Bernabeu.

Zidane was quoted as saying “He has grown a lot in Italy. I don’t know what will happen, but he did very well at Juventus. It is normal that they still want to keep him for another year, so we will see what happens. It’s not the time to talk about it yet.”

Morata is being chased by a number of English clubs with Arsenal and Chelsea going neck to neck to secure the services of the Spain international.
