According to Robert Lewandowski’s agent, the Bayern forward has negotiated a deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Rumours about Lewandowski joining Real Madrid have been topping the charts for several months. AS.com had earlier published a picture of one of Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharski present at the Real Madrid VIP box back in December.
Lewandowski has been in sublime form this season and scored 30 league goals to help Bayern clinch the Bundesliga title and maintain their domination in Germany.
Lewandowski’s agent has recently confirmed that Real Madrid has been in constant touch with Lewandowski’s camp.
“Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago, we listened to everything they said. It’s a big and exciting club. We have informed FC Bayern that we’ve held talks with Madrid,” said Kucharski.
Shedding some light on the rumour Lewandowski told Der Spiegel, “I’ve been in Germany for six years, have won everything here. Sometimes you have to consider whether it makes sense to try something new.”
It is also believed that Real Madrid are ready to offer the Polish Striker a six-year-contract worth up to 25 million euros ($27.7 million) a year.
