Bengaluru FC created history by reaching the AFC Cup final as the first Indian club to reach the landmark.
Unfortunately the Indian side were unable to add the missing cup to their trophy cabinet as Hammadi Ahmed slotted a 70th minute winner for the Irani side who ran out winners in the final held at Doha.
Chances went missing for Bengaluru FC as Watson and Chhetri tried their best to equalize for the Indian based club.
It was surely a night to forget for all Indian fans but they can hope for the best for Bengaluru FC who proved to be serious contenders for the Asian Championship. Hopefully Sunil Chhetri can captain his side to another final next year with a desire to grab silverware for his new outfit.
