Chelsea Set For Fabregas-Brozovic Swap Deal With Inter

Chelsea’s midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas finds himself in a messy situation as the 29-year-old Spanish international has been deemed surplus to requirements by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Fabregas is yet to make a start for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season and has apparently been told by Conte that he can leave the club if he wishes.

According to FootTheBall sources, Conte has now made a swap-deal bid for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic.

Chelsea are willing to let Fabregas leave for San Siro in order to add weight to the deal, and luring Inter to sell one of their best players.

The Croatian international is one of the hottest young prospect in Europe and is regarded as a highly versatile player, who has the ability to play anywhere in the midfield.

However, Inter under their new Chinese owners are prepared to hold onto their best talent as the fallen Italian giants start their journey back to the pinnacle of European football.

However, Fabregas on the other hand has stated that he has a very good relationship with Conte, also adding that he is staying at Stamford Bridge regardless of the rumours.

“Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.

“He said that he counts on me, as I count on him. I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my best. I am fully committed to Chelsea and my only goal is to help them win football matches.” he wrote on Twitter.

Cesc has been in sublime form during his 2 seasons at Chelsea, providing 25 assists.
