Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is in great transfer speculation this week as Pep Guardiola wants him at Etihad. The spanish international has lost out his place to new signing N’golo Kante who is a defensive beast.
Rumours suggest that Pep Guardiola is lacking creativity in midfield after recent loss to Spurs followed by a draw with Everton at home. Fabregas has already turned down moves to AC Milan and Juventus only to start one Premier league game for Conte.
Fabregas can be a good bargain buy for the Spanish manager who was under him at Barcelona. A fee around £20m should be enough to lure him from Stamford Bridge.
The Etihad chief is becoming frustrated by the performances of Fernandinho but does not see Fernando or the exiled Yaya Toure as the answer for midfield problems.
