Brazilian teen sensation Gabriel Barbosa has hinted that he could be moving to Europe this summer.
‘Gabigol’ as he is popularly called hinted that he could have just played his last match for current club Santos.
Barbosa spoke to the media after scoring twice this weekend and the 19-year old said played as if it was my last game here. Soon you will know something”.
According to reports Barcelona officials were present during the match, though Chelsea and Juventus are also said to be interested in the services of the wonder-boy.
It was also reported that Juventus had agreed personal terms with Gabigol and the club were opening negotiations with Santos to land the 19-year old.
Gabigol later posted a picture on Instagram with an emotional message, which also hinted towards an imminent move.
He is seen kissing the clubs batch in the picture with “My heart is Alvinegro (White and Black), and it beats strong for you. Santos you are my life, I love you to death.” written in the post.
Gabigol made his debut for Santos in 2013 after Neymar’s departure and has been a first-team regular ever-since, he has scored 5 times this year playing on the right-wing.
He also made his international debut at the start of this year and was also a part of Brazil’s Copa America squad.
