It will only be the second time Ryan Mason would be in the dug out leading his boy hood club as a coach in the Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City. He can be happy about the return of Harry Kane to outdoor training.

This game is going to be an experiment to assess if Football games in the UK were ready to have fans back in the stadiums. The final would host 8000 fans in the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday Evening.

It is a wonderful opportunity for Ryan Mason to prove why Spurs decided to hire him as a coach.

The England captain would do anything to play against Manchester City because this could be their shot at their first trophy since 2008. If he is unable to make it, Mason would most likely go with Lucas Moura, Heung Min Son and Gareth Bale up top which worked really well for him against Southampton which was his first game in-charge.

According to reports Harry Kane returned to training individually before the cup final against Manchester City. He did not train with his team but Kane might still return to the team, just in time.

If Harry Kane does make it back in time for the final against, we would expect Ryan Mason to line up in a 4-3-3 like he did against Southampton with the Son-Kane-Bale front line working ever so well under Mourinho as well. We could also see a 4-2-3-1 with Dele Alli in the number 10 role while he still tries to make it back in the team.

Pep would be vary of the attacking variations Spurs could deploy in this game if Kane makes a return to the matchday squad for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City. If Ryan Mason wins the final he would probably be appointed as the Manager next season and could take the club from strength to strength.
