Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is set to make his mark in India by attending the Hero ISL. The prolific striker is set to mark his opening during the match between Kolkata and Mumbai City FC on 25th October.
The former french player has endorsement duties lying ahead at a mall in the eastern metropolis. Henry will be present at the Ravindra Sarobar Stadium for the big ISL match before taking a flight to Mumbai.
The current Belgium assistant manager will also play audience to a bout between the Arsenal Football School and Reliances’ Young Champs foundation, on Wednesday 26th October in the Maharastra capital.
That will sum up his two day stay in the subcontinent and he will leave after concluding business with the brand.
Henry, the 39 year old Frenchman is the highest scoring player in Gunners history as well as a Catalan hero who shared success with the current Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola.
Indian football fans will be thrilled to watch Henry’s presence in the ISL. The match will also feature Mumbai City FC’s new signing, Diego Forlan who is also another big name in the world of football.
