Lionel Messi has given a hint that he could be set for a return to action after the Barcelona superstar posted a picture on his Instagram account.
Lionel suffered a groin injury against Ateltico Madrid two weeks back is poised to return to the pitch against Manchester City in the Champions League match on October 19.
The Catalan outfit had stated that the 29-year-old was out for three-weeks and the Argentina captain has already started light workouts with the La Masia medical staff.
In the pic, Messi can be seen wearing training kit, holding a sports drink and showcasing his multiple tattoos. A hint maybe, that he was just done with an intense gym session.
Messi captioned the picture “Un dia mas” which means “one more day” in English.
Messi also missed Argentina’s World Cup qualifier this week due to injury which resulted in the South American giants to drop points.
Lionel had announced retirement from international football after a final’s defeat to Chile in the Centennial edition of the Copa America, but later retracted his decision.
