West Ham are in the market to sign a striker as the London based club aim to become a power-house in English football, and their quest for a forward led them to former Arsenal and Manchester United attacker Robin Van Persie.
But the Hammers have reportedly turned down the chance to sign the Netherlands international, even after the 32-year old was willing to take a huge pay-cut and not so surprisingly Arsenal fans are loving every bit of it.
Hehe RvP not wanted even by West Ham ? https://t.co/gTMRH8fG2Y

Poor Van persie. Even a tin pot club like West ham doesn’t want to sign him.

The trolling hasn’t raised much eye-brows, as Van Persie is being seen as a traitor by many Arsenal faithfuls, after their former captain jumped ship and signed for Manchester United in 2012.

Van Persie currently earns a whopping £250k-a-week, however the Turkish giants Fenerbahce have said that they won’t stand in the way should the striker push for a transfer.
Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim said: “We’re waiting for buyers, if he wants to be sold.”
The Hammers have started looking elsewhere, having being already beaten by Chelsea for Belgian Michy Batshuayi.
