Arsene Wenger’s trouble with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez’s contract seem to be be never ending as the new reports coming from China are sure to break hearts of millions of Arsenal fans.
According to FootTheBall China’s sources the Chilean is a prime target for one of Chinese Super League’s biggie and the club have offered him £400,000 a week to leave Arsenal.
The 27-year-old currently has 18 months remaining on his contract and a new deal is far from being agreed.
Alexis Sanchez is currently on a £130,000-per-week deal at the Emirates Stadium, £10,000 less then team-mate Mesut Ozil – however, it has been reported that the former Barcelona star wants a deal in excess £200,000-per-week to sign a new contract.
Arsenal’s Premier League rivals and Italian side Juventus are said to be interested in signing Sanchez but it is unlikely that they can match the offer from the filthy rich Chinese side.
Arsenal have already started looking out for his replacement with Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus being identified as the prime target.
Earlier this week Wenger had said that Sanchez needs to lower his wage demands, adding that Arsenal could offer the player much more than just money.
