Tottenham Hotspurs were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night after a 2-1 defeat to AS Monaco, in what can be defined as a truly ‘Spurs like way’.
The Spurs bottled it once again on the big stage as they crashed out of the Champions League in the group stages.
Tottenham missed a once-in-a-lifetime chance to win the Premier League last season and finished behind fierce rival Arsenal on the last match day – Mauricio Pochettino’s team once again showed us why they’re one of the biggest chokers.
And as was expected Twitter was there to add salt to Spurs wounds, as Tottenham were mocked on the social media platform mercilessly.
