Croatia were 1-0 up by half-time after Ivan Perisic gave the Red and White’s the lead in the 37th minute and were cruising to victory after Ivan Rakitic doubled the lead in the 59th minute.
But the Czech Republic saw a late ressurgence after Milan Skoda pulled one back for the Czech’s in the 76th minute.
But the Croatian fans were not very pleased with the goal as they threw crackers and flames at the pitch.
The match was delayed as Croatian players and officials urged the supporters to stay calm and let the match continue, but a flame was thrown just then and a steward nearly escaped from getting hit by it.
The match then resumed but it looked like the incident had taken it’s toll on the Croatian team as they conceded a penalty in the 90th, which helped the Czech Republic equalize and manage a miraculous draw.
