Defending champions Spain decimated Turkish defense as the La Roja cruised to a 3-0 win.
Spain who struggled to win in their opening game against the Czech Republic, looked solid right from the start, and dominated the match.
Vicente Del Bosque’s side out-played Turkey in every department and were a class better than their opponents on the night.
Spain opened the scoring in the 34th minute when Alvaro Morata’s header found the back of the net, and doubled their lead just 3 minutes later when Nolito scored in the 37th minute.
La Roja went into half-time leading 2-0, and carried on the momentum in the second-half as they scored their 3rd goal in the 48th minute.
Morata scored his second goal of the game, with Jordi Alba providing the assist.
Turkey simply gave up after that as they failed to create any chances and were left chasing the Spanish attackers.
This marks Spain’s second win in as many matches and the defending champions have qualified for the next round, while Turkey’s future remains in the dark.
