Ukraine has suffered back-to-back defeats in their Group C encounters at the Euro 2016, and will play for pride when they face an upbeat Poland at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
The consecutive defeats has pushed Ukraine to an early elimination from Euro 2016 and will finish bottom of the group even if they bag a big win over Poland, especially since the aftermath of Northern Ireland’s emphatic 2-0 win over them.
Poland too will seek a win to avoid any upsets and move straight into the qualifiers. They have worked real hard in the first two matches, first against an unpredictable Northern Ireland and holding the strongest team in the group, Germany to a goal less draw.
Ukraine had a good run of results prior to the tournament, where they were undefeated in 6 matches with 5 wins. But football can be a funny game…
