Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raoila has told Swedish paper Expressen that the 34 year old’s next club could be a ‘surprise’.
Raoila said that Swedish star had a lot of offers on the table and that nothing has been decided yet.
Manchester United were strong favorites to secure Zlatan’s services after the appointment of Jose Mourinho, but his agent claimed that nothing was final as of now.
The star forward has recieved offers from other clubs in England and Europe, including his former clubs from Italy Milan and Inter and of-course bumper offers from the Chinese Super League. Raoila said: “We have not decided anything yet. I think it will be a surprise in the end.
“Everybody is harping on about only United, United, United, that’s why I do not talk with anyone long for all journalists asking the wrong questions.
“Several clubs still fight for his signature. There are some clubs in England, a few clubs in Europe, clubs outside Europe, but everyone assumes that he must go to Manchester United, but it is not true.
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the king and the club that buys him do not have to pay a transfer fee. This means that Ibrahimovic, who just finished a record season at PSG, can get an extra high salary. He is in a good bargaining position.
“It’s not important to arrange something quickly, I care only about arranging something with quality. I’m not in a hurry. No running behind me and chasing me. It’s about doing the right thing at the right time.
“The only thing we care about is quality. Let’s see what happens. But we have a nice period ahead of us now.”
Ibrahimovic was directly asked about a move to Old Trafford in an interview earlier this week, and smiled before saying “we’ll see what happens”.
