Arsenal Make Sanchez Huge £270,000-A-Week Offer To Tie Him Down Amid Bayern And Man City Interest

Published on:

Arsenal have made another new offer to contract rebel Alexis Sanchez in bid to fend off Bayern Munich interest.

The new deal is believed to be in the region of £270,000 a week. Sanchez had earlier demanded a wage packet of £300,000 a week and now Foottheball sources reveal that the new offer on the table includes incentives that will take it closer to the figure the Chilean wants.

Sources also reveal that the Gunners bosses will hold further talks with the former Barcelona man after Arsenal face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Sanchez has 12 months left in his existing Arsenal contract and is under the radar of top-flight European clubs. He is yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners and had previously said that he was unhappy at Arsenal due to lack of ambition and a winning mentality.

Arsenal bosses are hoping to tie down the Chilean but the Gunners have failed to seal a place in the Champions League and this can force Sanchez to test new waters in the summer.

Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus are all desperate to rope in the services of the Chilean – with the Bundesliga champions having already made a strong effort to lure him away.

Foottheball sources also reveal that Sanchez wants to stay in the Premier League and Manchester City are in pole position to rope him in.

Sanchez wants to win more trophies and play in the Champions League. And even if the Gunners outplay champions Chelsea next weekend in the FA Cup final it might not be enough for the Chilean.

Wenger accentuated that the club bosses do not want to sell him to another English club and a title rival – instead they are ready to let him run down his contract at the Emirates. However, Man City are confident that a £50m offer would be enough to tempt the Gunners and the City players believed that if the Chilean wants to move away then it would be difficult for Arsenal to tie him down.
