Bale Tells Real Madrid President He’d Prefer Manchester United Switch Over Chelsea

Rumours about Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid have taken Spain by a storm and it is believed that his time at the La Liga club is drawing to a close after the Welshman revealed which clubs in the Premier League he wants to play for.

Bale has signed a new whooping £250,000-per-week (after tax) deal with Real Madrid back in October that will keep him at the club until 2022, but his incredible start in Spain has been dented after an injury-hit campaign.

The former Tottenahm Hotspur star proved his class during his first three seasons at Real Madrid but it is now believed that the Los Balncos hierarchy have lost their patience and it is evident after the club launched moves for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard and Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.

It is also believed that Bale is not keen on parting ways with the star-studded Real Madrid side, but if the club bosses accept any offer for the former Spurs man then the Welsh superstar would have no other option but to accept a transfer.

According to diariogol.com, journalist Pip Estrada reports: “The agent of the player has started to negotiate in England after being annoyed with the reactions to his injury.”

Diariogol revealed that Bale would prefer a move to Premier League giants Manchster United and help Jose Mourinho to bring back the glory days at Old Trafford or prove his mettle under Conte to earn a starting place at Chelsea.

Bale was out of action after pulling an ankle injury in November before a calf problem halted his comeback.

He has only nine goals to his name from 26 appearances in all competitions this season.

Real Madrid now have the opportunity to clinch a Champions Leagu and La Liga double but Bale would now face stiff competition to seal a starting role from the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio proving their mettle under Zidane.

And now the burning question of the hour is whether he will feature in the Champions League final in Cardiff and it is believed that he can shut his critics if he clinches the winner against the Serie A giants.
