Real Madrid hit-man Cristiano Ronaldo had reportedly urged the Los Blancos bosses not to sign Paul Pogba last summer, and now it is believed that the four-time Ballon d’Or winner has told the club not to rope in these three players.
According to reports in Diario Gol, Ronaldo has urged the defending European champions not to make any move for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann and PSG midfielder Marco Verratti, who have all been linked with mega-money moves to Real Madrid in the last few weeks.
Foottheball sources reveal that Zidane is keen on bolstering the squad in the summer and club president Florentino Perez has already identified potential summer targets.
The report also claimed that Ronaldo is insecure after due to his recent lack-lustre performances but he wants to remain the biggest name at the Spanish club.
Not many believe that Griezmann would make a switch to Real Madrid regardless of Ronaldo’s growing concerns as it is believed that Atletico Madrid would not be willing their superstar to their arch rivals.
Sources also reveal that Griezmann could now join Man Utd under Mourinho in the summer as the red devils are on the verge of launching big-money move for the French star.
Zidane is very fond of Hazard for the last few years but it is believed that Antonio Conte would not part ways with his most creative player.
Verratti has now been linked with a move away from PSG in the summer but it is believed that Inter Milan, Juventus and Chelsea are in race to sign the Italian midfielder.
Ronaldo already has 26 goals and 11 assists to his name in 34 appearances in all completions for the current La Liga leaders this season.
