Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has revealed that Eden Hazard would be a very good signing for the defending European Champions.
Hazard is the prime target for the Los Blancos this summer, with speculations of a world record bid for the Chelsea star in the pipeline.
The Belgian has been in sensational form this season, having scored 14 goals and providing five assists in the Premier League.
Benzema said that he would love to see Hazard at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“[Hazard] is a very good player, what can I say?” Benzema said.
“I have not seen the rumours, but it’s obvious that he would be a good signing.”
Benzema and Real are top of the table with a three point lead over second placed Barcelona – although the Los Blancos have a game in hand as well.
However, sources close to the 26-year-old Blues star have revealed that he will likely shoot down any transfer offer from Madrid.
Eden Hazard has himself revealed that his kids are settled in England and he is very happy at Chelsea.
“Maybe I will live in Belgium, to be close to the family, or else I could go somewhere with nice weather,” Hazard replied when questioned about his post retirement plans by the Chelsea website.
“My kids are very settled in London so it could be here – that’s a long way off yet, so we will see.”
