Liverpool Ready To Take On Real Madrid And Arsenal In A £100m Bidding War For Mbappe

Published on:

Liverpool will not back off even if the transfer bidding war for Kylian Mbappe reaches £100m as Reds Boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on joining the race for AS Monaco’s teenage sensation.

The Reds have not launched an official bid for the French striker but they have informed Monaco about their interest in the player.

And Liverpool will try everything possible to lure away Mbappe to Anfield if the French striker opts to make a switch in the Premier League this summer.

Monaco have no reasons to offload their prized asset as they are in a comfortable position financially after selling Bernardo Silva to Manchester City. Sources also claim that the Ligue 1 club are looking forward to tie him down on a new deal which will include a hiked wage packet.

But reports in France claim that Mbappe has already held talks with Zinedine Zidane and Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal boss advised him to move to a club where he would be a regular starter – indirectly suggesting him that he would be a regular first-team man if he joins Arsenal this summer.

The French teenager displayed incredible form as he guided Moncao to Ligue 1 triumph and also helped the club to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League – with 26 goals to his name in all competitions.

And now he is under the radar of top-flight European clubs – with Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG keen on securing the signatures of the talented youngster this summer.

Mbappe’s incredible form for Monaco has also earned him a place in the France national team and he has left no stone unturned to prove his mettle in the international circuit as well.

And Now Liverpool want to join the race for Mbappe and the Reds have made it clear they would be interested in holding talks with Monaco if the player is available this summer.

This clearly indicated that his transfer value will soar up to £100m, making Real Madrid the clear favourites as the Los Blancos would easily match the asking price for securing the services of one of Europe’s hottest prospects.

FootTheBall sources had earlier revealed that Real Madrid were plotting an offer somewhere in the region of €100m and Premier League giants Arsenal were also ready to match the offer.

Liverpool understand that they cannot financially compete with Real Madrid if Mbappe opts to move to Spain, but if the race is only between Arsenal and the Reds, then Klopp is ready to launch a tempting offer.
