New AC Milan! – Aubameyang, Balde And Fabregas Key Targets, But What About Donnarumma, Montella’s Future?

Published on:

AC Milan are planning an eye-watering £68 million move for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Italian giants are finally set to have the impending Chinese take-over completed on March 3 and the in-coming owners have identified the BVB talisman as the prime target for the summer.

Sino-Europe Sports, the soon to be new owners of the club are planning a summer overhaul of the club as they prepare to take Milan back to the top of Italian and European football.

The SES have also identified Lazio forward Keita Balde as another potential target.

The 19-year-old has been impressive for the Rome based club, having scored 7 goals in 19 appearances so far this season.

Meanwhile, the San Siro outfit have also rekindled interest in Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas has rejuvenated himself and has forced his way back into the team under Antonio Conte and has recently stated that he will not leave the club.

When questioned about whether he would be at the club next season, he said: “One hundred per cent.”

“I am not thinking about anything else than challenging myself here. The situation from six months ago to now has changed massively.”

However, this hasn’t deterred the Diavolo in their pursuit of the Spaniard.

Meanwhile, the blockbuster transfer would be the capture of the Gabonese international Aubameyang – who Milan let leave when he was just 22 for having “too square feet”.

The BVB star has been very vocal about his desire to leave the club at the end of this season and if Milan can lure him to the San Siro, the 7-time Champions League winners will be challenging for the Scudetto next season.

Although, initial reports coming from sources close to the SES have also revealed that the consortium have prioritized tying-down teenage superstar Gianluigi Donnarumma to a new long-term contract.

Donnarumma recently turned 18 and is now eligible to sign his first professional contract, having already established himself as a key first-team member in the Rossoneri line-up.

Gigio’s agent Mino Raiola has been building pressure on the Diavolo with constant transfer speculations.

While, sources also suggest that SES could also oust boss Vincenzo Montella – however, the possibility of this are pretty low, seeing how the Italian has transformed the Rossoneri and is on-course to guiding them to a European qualification.

Although if Milan do decide to part ways with the 43-year-old – there won’t be a shortage of possible replacements with Milan’s massive reputations.
