Real Madrid To Test Chelsea’s Resolve With World Record Bid For Eden Hazard
Real Madrid are likely to break the £100 million mark if and when they decide to make an offer for the little wizard.
Chelsea are yet to receive an official bid from Real Madrid, but reports in Spain suggest that a offer is very much in the pipeline for the summer.
Meanwhile, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are in no mood to allow their talisman to leave the club – no matter what the offer is.
Spanish newspaper Marca – which is usually seen as a mouthpiece for the club, openly ran a cover page story claiming that Chelsea are open to selling the winger.
It was reported that Chelsea will look to make funds for further strengthening their squad by selling Eden Hazard – but Blues owner Roman Abramovich has never relied on selling his top talent to make funds for investment.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Eden – and he is the reason why the Spanish capital based club are so eager to sign the superstar.
However, Marca’s claims that Eden Hazard is learning Spanish are very inaccurate.
Hazard has also made it clear that he is not looking to force his way out of the club, after becoming the ultimate superstar at the Bridge.
Hazard signed for Chelsea in 2012 from Lille and has become a central figure in the team now – and his relaxed view about his future is a point that works in Chelsea’s favour.
Although, it must be noted that Real almost always do get what they want and a tempting offer is sure to cause problems in London.
