England striker Wayne Rooney gave an emotional speech in the changing room after becoming England’s all-time leading goal-scorer on Tuesday by netting a goal against Switzerland in Euro qualifiers.
Once the match got over, the English captain was first given a special jersey by coach Roy Hodgson. And then Hodgson was the one who insisted the 29-year-old to say a few words.
The striker was quite emotional during the speech as he described it as a ‘huge moment’ and hoped to score more goals in the future.
