Zlatan Ibrahimovic Will Sign New Manchester United Deal If He Becomes The Joint-Highest Earner

Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made it clear that he will only stay at the club for if he is made the highest earning player at Old Trafford.

Reports coming from Manchester have suggested that the talisman is ready to commit his immediate future with United if they offer him the same salary as Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba – both of whom earn a whooping £300,000-a-week.

The 35-year-old signed on a one-year deal for the Red Devils but has a clause in his contract that can extend his stay for one more year.

Zlatan has been in phenomenal form for Manchester United this season, having scored 26 goals in all competition and the club are eager to tie him down to for another year.

However, Ibrahimovic has made it clear that his performances deserve a pay-rise from his current £260,000-a-week to £300,000-a-week.

Zlatan’s agent Mino Raiola has already received bumper offers for the Swedish megastar – including from the MLS in the United States to the Chinese Super League.

However, Ibra is insistent that he would rather stay and compete in the world’s most competitive league, but only if he is duly incentivized.Jose Mourinho

Although, the bumper offers coming from elsewhere could dash United’s hope of keeping the towering goal scorer for one more season.

Zlatan is currently serving a three-match domestic ban for elbowing Bournemouth defender Mings.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to keep hold of his star man, and has already pleaded for him to stay on multiple occasions.
