David Luiz Ready To Quit Chelsea And Force Through Move To Barcelona After Antonio Conte Spat

David Luiz is ready to part ways with Chelsea next summer and force through a move to La Liga giants Barcelona, according to Spanish reports.

David Luiz is reportedly not happy at Chelsea after bust-up with Antonio Conte

Chelsea were struggling to find form especially after an embarrassing defeat against Roma in the Champions League but the Blues are now back-on-track after clinching a crucial 1-0 win over Manchester United to keep their Premier League title hopes alive this season.

The build-up to the game saw Antonio Conte engaging in mind games with Jose Mourinho but the Italian’s reported bust-up with his defender David Luiz has raised eyebrows within the Chelsea hierarchy.

Antonio Conte has admitted that Luiz has to improve

Conte had axed Luiz for the Premier League clash with Man Utd and his decision worked wonders as Andreas Christensen displayed sublime form which helped the Blues to clinch all the three points against the Red Devils.

However, recent reports have revealed the actual reason as to why Conte axed Luiz from his Blues squad.

In the post-match interviews Conte accentuated that Luiz could face more time on the sidelines if he does not improve his game.

This has now put Luiz’s Chelsea future in doubt and rumours claim that the relationship between the player and manager has taken an ugly turn.

And according to Diario Gol, the Brazilian defender is fed up with life at Stamford Bridge and is keen to make a switch to Barcelona next summer.

The report also claims that Luiz has launched a come-and-get-me plea to Barcelona.

Barcelona are currently searching the market for a new central defender with Javier Mascherano reportedly linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season and Thomas Vermaelen’s Nou Camp future in doubt.
