Iran’s midfielder Reza Shekari has joined Russian side Rostov on Saturday according to reports in the Middle Eastern country.
The young star has joined the club on a three-year contract, Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, from Iran’s Zob Ahan club, is widely considered as one of the best young Iranian players.
In 2015, Shekari was named by the British newspaper, the Guardian, as one of the 50 most exciting young talents in world soccer.
Reza Shekari is also touted as one of the top five wonderkids of his generation from Asia – due to his impressive skill set.
Shekari is reunited with fellow Iranian Sardar Azmoun at Rostov and will look to make a name for himself to earn a move to a bigger club in the near future.
