Dream Big: Liverpool Star Coutinho Wants Barcelona Move Amid Real Madrid And PSG Interest

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is keen on making a switch to La Liga side Barcelona, according to recent reports.

coutinho-firminoThe Spanish giants Barcelona had earlier identified Coutinho as a potential transfer target as they are keen on bolstering their squad.

The Brazilian winger has proved his mettle at Liverpool and has secured a place in Klopp’s first team after a series of brilliant performances – with Liverpool displaying immaculate attacking football, netting in 26 goals in 10 games in all competitions.

Coutinho has played an integral role in guiding Liverpool to a fantastic start in Premier League this season and has four goals and equal number of assists to his name.

coutinhoAnd according to the Spanish newspaper ‘Sport’, Liverpool are now scared that they could lose their star player to the Spanish giants in the next summer transfer window.

Earlier, reports had claimed that the 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder had made efforts to line up a move to Barcelona in the last summer transfer window.

luis-enriqueCoutinho’s representatives had alreted Bacelona about Coutinho’s availability but Barca boss Luis Enrique was keen bringing in reinforcements to other positions in the last transfer window.

However, Barcelona would now face an uphill task in roping in Coutinho as the Brazilian has recently signed a contract till 2020 with Liverpool. But reports claim, that the Brazilain is still keen on making his dream switch tot the Spanish side.

coutinhoCoutinho has been under the radar of top-flight clubs and according to reports, Real Madrid and Ligue 1 giants PSG have showed huge interest in the talented Liverpool midfielder.

Real Madrid are keen on luring away Coutinho despite their on-going transfer ban.

coutinho-kloppHowever, Jurgen Klopp is not willing to leave his star player as he is well aware of his potential. The German manager has already given him the assurance of another bumper new contract.

But Liverpool has also kept tabs on out-of-favour Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne as a replacement, if Coutinho decides to leave in the next summer.
