Man City In Pole Position To Rope In Isco Amid Huge Interest From Chelsea And Juventus

Real Madrid star Isco has been linked with a move away from the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Isco has been under the radar of top-flight European clubs for the last few transfer windows and now Premier League Manchester City are in pole position to secure the services of the Spanish player.

Foottheball sources had earlier revealed that Isco is not happy with life at Real Madrid due to lack of game time under their manager Ziadane. And now sources revealed that the Spanish playmaker is keen on making a switch in the summer.

The 24-year-old has only earned 11 La Liga starts this season but he played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Espanyol last weekend.

Foottheball sources also reveal that the Spanish playmaker has refused to sign a new deal with the La Liga giants and it is believed that several top clubs are now monitoring the situation.

Pundits believe that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez would opt to offload Isco in the summer transfer window or they might face the risk of losing their star player to arch rivals Barcelona on a free transfer in 2018.

After Saturday’s win, Isco said: “I am calm, though I am worried about getting more minutes, I am very happy here, but a player’s career is small.”

“We’ll make a decision at the end of the season – it’s my future at stake.”

Premier League clubs Manchester City and Chelsea are now at loggerheads to rope in the talented Spanish playmaker in the summer.

Earlier, Isco had almost joined Manchester City in the 2012-13 season but he eventually rejected the offer from his former Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini and joined the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola is now desperate to bolster his midfield after a recent dip in their form. And the Spanish manager is well aware of Isco’s unsettled status at Real Madrid. It is now believed that Man City could be third time lucky in their pursuit of the Spanish star.

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea also have held talks with the player’s agent and is looking forward to lure him away to London.

Reports suggest that the Serie A giants Juventus are also set to launch a tempting bid for Isco in the summer transfer window.

Massimiliano AllegriIsco will have only a year left in his current contract with Real Madrid at the end of this season and it is believed that the Spanish giants would not sell him cheap.
