Milan Launch Ambitious Cristiano Ronaldo Enquiry During Meeting With Real Madrid star’s Agent Jorge Mendes

AC Milan bosses have now launched an ambitious enquiry about the availability of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

AC Milan asked super agent Jorge Mendes over the availability of Cristiano Ronaldo

Milan CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli met with Ronaldo’s agent in London and asked about the four-time Ballon d’Or winner, who was linked with a move away from Real Madrid last month.

According to Sky Italia, the Milan chiefs asked Mendes whether Ronaldo is considering a move away from the La Liga champions.

Jorge Mendes reportedly met with AC Milan chiefs over the potential moves of three players

It was more out of curiosity rather than with any intention to launch a move for the Real Madrid hit-man.

The report also stated that the Milan bosses were informed that Ronaldo would cost a staggering £179million and would ask for a whooping wage packet of £550,000-a-week.

It is understood that Milan is not in a position to consider a move for the former Manchester United player – as the total deal to rope him in would reach upto £400m.

Ronaldo had been linked with a move away from Real Madrid

Ronaldo had been linked with a move away from Real Madrid all summer, but it now seems that it is PR stunt to put Ronaldo in a better position to sign another mega-new deal with the Los Balncos.

He had been linked with a return to Manchester United, but Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho did not show much interest as he believed it to be a never-ending chase.

But now the Los Blancos superstar has confirmed that he will stay.

He said: “To win important trophies with my club and the personal honours last season was brilliant.”

“To do it again would be nice.”

AC Milan have already roped in the likes of Andre Silva, Ricardo Rodriguez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie, Fabio Borini, Leonardo Bonucci and Lucas Bigila in an outstanding £160million spending spree so far this summer.

The Serie A club wants to add more reinforcements and have identified Renato Sanches, Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao as top targets.

Mendes, who also represents Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo – met the Milan chiefs in order to negotiate the potential moves.
