Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that the club have not received any offer for Cristiano Ronaldo from China.
The 31-year-old’s agent Jorge Mendes had recently claimed that the Portugal captain was the latest target of a €300 million offer from a Chinese Super League club.
Mendes had also claimed that Ronaldo was offered a whooping €100-million-per-year salary to play in the CSL.
However, the Portuguese super-agent also added that the Los Blancos star-man was not intrested in leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.
Although, Perez has claimed that the club have not received an official bid for the Best FIFA Men’s Player award recipient.
“Real Madrid received no offer,” he said.
“It is possible [something happened] as there have been many people interested over the years in signing Ronaldo.”
“But Madrid have received no such offer.”
“Sometimes it can happen that people talk on the margins, away from the club.”
The Ballon d’Or winner is in sublime form having scored 17 goals in twenty appearances this season.
Ronaldo’s current contract with Real Madrid runs till June 2021.
