Two Chinese Clubs To Offer Rooney Man Utd Exit By Making Him Highest Paid Football Star In World

First Carlos Tevez, then Oscar and now its time for England veteran Wayne Rooney to move to the Chinese Super league (CSL).

Two CSL clubs are chasing the Manchester United forward with a mouth watering £700,000-a-week deal to turn his back on the Premier League giants in the summer.

After understanding that Wayne Rooney is not a regular starter for the Three Lions, Chinese clubs have swooped in to take advantage of the situation.

Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao – the richest club in China – and Beijing Guoan have targeted 31-year-old Rooney as the stellar signing to take Chinese football to the next level.

After Oscar’s high profile move to Shanghai SIPG, CSL clubs are banking on their cash to lure more superstars from the Premier league.

Former Manchester United and City star Carlos Tevez is also on his way to Shanghai Shenhua on a staggering £615,000-a-week.

Wayne Rooney still has 2 years left on his current Manchester United contract. The forward has £300,000 a week wage package which will easily be eclipsed with a move to China.

Beijing Guoan have already tried to capture Rooney but failed so after talks with agent Paul Stretford fell out.

Jose Mourinho’s arrival has raised doubts over Rooney’s first team place this season and the player may leave in search of regular football.

It seems sure that Wayne Rooney will not leave Manchester United in the January transfer window as he is just 2 goals shy of breaking Sir Bobby Charltons’s all time goal record at United.

Rooney is on 248 goals and just one goal short of equaling the record which has been untouched for a period of 43 years.
