Sanchez Who? Wenger Set To Off-Load Contract Rebel Alexis In A Swap Deal For Pjanic
Arsene Wenger has come up with a plan to sort out the Alexis Sanchez mess at the Emirates Stadium.
It has been reported by FootTheBall sources in England and Italy that the Gunners boss spoke to the Bosnian international about a possible move to England and the 26-year-old is excited about the prospect of playing in the English Premier League.
However, no deal will be done in January and both the clubs will wait till the end of the season before making a final move for Miralim Pjanic – using Sanchez bait.
The 28-year-olds future has been the source of speculations ever-since the contract tussle with the club started, and things took a south turn after Arsenal’s humiliating draw against Bournemouth – where Alexis couldn’t hide his frustrations after his team-mates showed a lack of character by celebrating the draw like it was a win.
Pjanic signed for the Turin based outfit from AS Roma at the start of this season in a £25 million, and while it was reported that the Gunners were willing to offer upto £28 million for the Bosnian international – recent developments have changed all that.
