‘Nagelsmann Will Replace Ancelotti At Bayern’, Says RB Leipzig Sporting Director

Published on:

Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann is expected to replace Carlo Ancelotti sooner or later according to RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick.

Nagelsmann became the youngest manager in Bundesliga history aged 28 in February, 2016. After taking over Hoffenheim from Huub Stevens, Julian Nagelsmann has steered his side to 7 wins and 10 draws in 17 fixtures this term.

And after leading Hoffenheim away from relegation, Nagelsmann’s side are the only unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues this campaign.

Rangnick believes that a bright future lies ahead of Nagelsmann who is achieving great feats at such a young age.

“He is young, a great professional and has charisma. He also has the ability to catch and motivate the team,” Rangnick said.

“Julian is already seen as Ancelotti’s successor at Bayern. I hope for him that he is advised by good people.”

Surprise title challengers and newcomers, RB Leipzig face Hoffenheim next in Bundesliga on Saturday as they sit three points behind Bayern Munich in second place.

Meanwhile, Julian Nagelsmann’s Hoffenhiem are 8 points adrift in the third place.

“It’s no coincidence that Hoffenheim is up there. They have a good system.”

“Since I left back then they departed from their own way a few times. Because of that they almost were relegated twice.”
