Zlatan Ibrahimovic has added yet another record to his name after scoring his 15th league goal for Manchester United on Sunday.
The 35 year old Swede became the league’s oldest player to reach 15 goals as he doubled Manchester United’s lead against holders Leicester City at the stroke of half time.
Jose Mourinho enjoyed a 0-3 win over the Foxes who are under the threat of relegation following their poor run of form this season.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored past Kasper Schmeichel’s left hand side to register his 20th goal in all competitions for the Red Devils.
At 35 years and 125 days, Ibrahimovic is now the oldest player to hit 15 strikes in the top flight, and is on course to become the oldest person to score 20 in the Premier League.
He can win his first piece of silverware later this month when Manchester United face Southampton in the EFL Cup final at Wembley on 26th February.
Jose Mourinho’s men are back in the hunt for Champions league qualification and are just 5 points adrift of fourth placed Arsenal.
The win also ended Manchester United’s run of three consecutive draws in the Premier league.
