Chelsea star Eden Hazard will snub interest from Real Madrid if the Los Blancos come calling this summer.
The 26-year-old is fully committed to the Blues and has no plans to seek a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Hazard has been Real’s prime target for sometime now and the Spanish giants were hoping that the presence of his idol Zinadine Zidane at the helms would help their cause.
However, it is unlikely that this dream will be fulfilled anytime soon.
Real are planning to go on a massive spending spree after FIFA banned them from making any signings in the January transfer window.
Eden himself had stated that he will only leave Stamford Bridge after winning the title with Chelsea again.
He said: “If I ever leave, it’ll be after winning a championship. You need to go out on a high so that people remember you for the right reasons.”
With Chelsea sitting comfortably at the top of the table with a 10 point lead, rumours were buzzing whether the superstar would leave.
Even if Hazard was to claim yet another league title with Chelsea, it is unlikely that he will leave – with his family settled in London.
The Belgian has reinvented himself under Antonio Conte, with the new 3-4-3 formation giving him enough freedom to roam around in a more central role.
Hazard has already scored 11 goals this season and is just 3 shy of his best at Chelsea, having scored 14 goals in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Chelsea too have been insistent that the former Lille star will not be sold.
Conte himself recently suggested that Eden Hazard ‘had no price’.
