“Olivier has big experience in the game now and has become a more and more complete player since joining us.”
“Laurent is of course a key part of our squad and I believe one of the best defenders in the world today. So overall, this is great news for us.”
Giroud was Arsenal’s highest scorer last season with 24 goals in all competition and the Frenchman has scored 9 times till now this season.
Whereas, Koscielny and Coquelin have been regulars of the first-team – making 273 and 131 appearances for the club respectively.
While Arsenal have tied the three players down to new contracts, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s future is still in doubts.
The duo’s contract will expire next year and no new deal with either has
been agreed as of yet.
