Former Arsenal and Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas is looking forward to buy a new home in Italy – inches away from the AC Milan training complex – as he is on brink to make a move away from Premier League side Chelsea.
The Chelsea midfielder has lacked game time this season and has started only one Premier League match under new Blues boss Antonio Conte, in which they suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat against Arsenal.
Once a big name in Serie A, AC Milan are now on the brink of a takeover and the club has already started to identify their transfer targets for the upcoming winter transfer window. With the cash rich Chinese investors in the line, the Serie A club are keen on securing the signatures of Fabregas in January.
Both chief executive Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli were spotted at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea thrashed defending league champions Leicester City 3-0 on Saturday – but Fabregas was out of action due to injury.
Foottheball sources claim that the former Barcelona star has already hold talks with an Italian property company – The Porto Group, in bid to hire their services for relocating to Italy.
It is believed that Fabregas has plans to relocate to a luxurious penthouse nearby celebrity hang-out Lake Como, where he would be a neighbour of Hollywood big shots like George Clooney.
The property company have already handled high profile clients like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba – helping them to find houses in Italy and now they are on the verge of booking a luxurious pad for Fabregas.
