Stoke scored twice in the final 12 minutes to salvage a 2-2 draw at Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday, keeping both teams without a win after two rounds this season.

Marko Arnautovic converted a 78th-minute penalty to get Stoke back into the game after conceding twice in the first half, before Mame Biram Diouf turned in substitute Stephen Ireland’s cross in the 83rd.

“If the game had gone a little bit longer who knows we might have been greedy and claimed two more points,” Stoke manager said.

“We looked to be comfortable but that’s what we need to work on, to not slow down and keep going,” Dier said. “It was our fault last season and we’re disappointed we’ve done it again this season. I felt it was our fault more than theirs — we let them back into the game.”
