Morgan Schneiderlin is all set to complete his Everton move after failing to establish himself as a Manchester United regular under Jose Mourinho.
The deal is reported to be around £22 million as the Toffees have been involved in negotiations for the Frenchman before Christmas.
It is believed that Morgan Schneiderlin will join the Merseyside club within the next 48 hours after United rejected an earlier £19 million bid for the former Southampton midfielder.
Jose Mourinho also confirmed that Schneiderlin is set to leave the club after their 2-0 win over Hull last night: “I have no details, but before the match I was informed by Mr Woodward that the situation is close. Morgan is more than probably going to Everton.”
Including add ons, the deal could rise up to £24 million with the personal terms not an agenda to be worried about.
Morgan Schneiderlin knows that his Manchester United stint is over and hopes to relaunch his career after reuniting with former boss Ronald Koeman at the Goodison Park.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis also wanted the Frenchman but Koeman made him his priority target after the Baggies saw their initial £18 million bid rejected.
Will Morgan Schneiderlin be back to his best at Everton?
